To celebrate the launch of ‘Painter’s Refuge: A Way of Life,’ Reginald Sylvester II will be in conversation with Maya Brooks, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art at the North Carolina Museum of Art and Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art. The conversation will be followed by a book signing.
‘Painter’s Refuge: A Way of Life,’ was published by Pacific and the Harvey B. Gantt Center to document and expand upon Sylvester’s solo exhibition at the museum.
