Jaylon Israel Hicks: New Currency Issue 03 Cover

We are pleased to announce that Jaylon Hicks’ photograph, ‘Untitled (Protest)’ was chosen as one of three covers of Issue 03 of New Currency. The issue tackles the question of what it means to be an artist in the city today and includes a conversation between Hicks and Mark Miodownik, New York Times bestselling author and UCL Professor of Materials & Society. The photograph was previously exhibited in Hicks’ solo exhibition at the gallery, ‘Gothica’, that took place in the spring of last year.
