Somaya Critchlow: Luncheon on the Grass

Opening 19 February 2022, Somaya Critchlow is included in the group exhibition Luncheon on the Grass: Contemporary responses to Édouard Manet’s ‘Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe’ at Jeffrey Deitch, Los Angeles. The exhibition brings together contemporary responses to Édouard Manet’s ‘Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe’, 1863, in a celebration of the radical, contradictory and transgressive possibilities of painting.

The exhibition will be on view until 23 April 2022 and features work from artists including Diane Arbus, Jeff Koons, Tala Madani, Tschabalala Self and Kehinde Wiley.
